Philips Healthcare Presents AI-based Solutions to Improve Patient Care and Care Delivery at Arab Health 2020

Philips Healthcare (Amsterdam‎, Noord-Holland) presented its artificial intelligence (AI)-based solutions designed to improve patient care and care delivery at Arab Health 2020. The company aims to develop integrated solutions that can adapt to customer needs and embed into individual workflows.

At this year’s Arab Health, Philips highlighted the Azurion with FlexArm, which sets a new standard for patient imaging and positioning flexibility for image-guided procedures. Azurion with FlexArm includes a set of innovations that makes it easier for the clinician to perform imaging across the whole patient in both 2D and 3D. As the clinician moves the system, the image beam automatically maintains alignment with the patient, allowing more consistent visualization and enabling them to keep their focus on the treatment.

Philips also presented the IQon Spectral CT, which is the world’s first and only detector-based spectral CT, delivering multiple layers of retrospective data in a single, low-dose scan. By pairing conventional CT images with layers of spectral results in the same exam, it potentially reduce the cost associated with repeat exams.

Philips showcases its next-generation enterprise imaging informatics, including a suite of integrated products with a comprehensive platform designed to connect clinical capabilities and optimize workflows. Also highlighted at the event was PerformanceBridge, Philips’ vendor-agnostic, integrated, scalable portfolio of analytics, services, and tools that provides hospital departments with real-time information for performance improvements.
