Comen Showcases Future of Respiratory Support with Advanced Ventilators

By HospiMedica International staff writers
Posted on 29 Jan 2024

Comen Medical Instruments (Shenzhen, China) is showcasing a wide range of products at Arab Health 2024, including the NV70 ventilator, the CVL series video laryngoscope, the ND 15/12/10 patient monitors, the U8 catheter-positioning guiding system, the B2 neonatal incubator, the P6 temperature control system, and the MX8900 infusion workstation, among others.

At the 2024 edition of Arab Health, Comen is presenting the future of respiratory support with its NV70 ventilator. Boasting an expansive 18-inch touchscreen with a rotating display, intuitive operation, and upgraded synchronization technology, the NV70 ventilator ensures patients a comfortable breathing journey. Its powerful turbine effortlessly compensates for any non-invasive mask-sealing gaps while optimized algorithms provide unparalleled compensation for air leakage during non-invasive ventilation, establishing the most robust power core. The NV70 ventilator seamlessly integrates with syringe pumps, monitors, and intensive care information systems, creating a comprehensive critical care solution. Also on display is the NV10 nHFO ventilator which is a high-frequency oscillatory ventilator designed to provide high-quality respiratory support, making it an indispensable tool in neonatal departments and NICUs.

Comen is also showcasing the ND 15/12/10 patient monitors with a user-friendly design and sophisticated features such as comprehensive Clinical Assistive Applications (CAA) that include Early Warning Scores (EWS), Critical Congenital Heart Disease (CCHD), SepsisGuide, Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), and 24-hour ECG summary. This empowers healthcare providers to focus on essential tasks and data, resulting in more accurate diagnostics and well-informed decisions. In addition, Comen is highlighting the L9 surgical lights featuring advanced Dimming Technology for precise illumination control without high-frequency flashing, protecting surgeons' eyes and reducing fatigue. The eye protection light minimizes contrast for a more relaxed and visually optimized experience, while the six endoscopic light colors allow surgeons to choose a comfortable lighting tone. The intelligent shadow management system ensures a shadow-free surgical environment, and the elliptical light pattern addresses challenges with long and narrow incisions.
